Step 1: Identify which drugs you are testing for
Test any combination of the following Major Drugs of Abuse (MDOA):
- THC – Marijuana
- COC – Cocaine
- OPI – Opiates
- BAR – Barbiturates
- BZO – Benzodiazepines
- OXY – Oxycodone
- MDMA – Molly/Ecstasy
- AMP – Amphetamines

- K2 – Synthetic Marijuana or Spice

Step 2: Choose which type of instant test you’ll need
Next, you’ll have to choose which type of test best fits your needs. When it comes to choosing the instant on-site drug testing kit that is right for you, there are typically 3 options:
1. Instant Drug Testing Strip/Dip Card (Urine Specimen Test): Usually the most affordable option. Test anywhere from 1 – 12 major drugs of abuse.
Simply dip the test into a collection cup and receive results instantly.
2. Integrated Instant Drug Testing Cup (Urine Specimen Test): Similar to the dip card option, except the card is integrated with the cup. No dipping required. Slightly more expensive but the most popular option for instant drug testing.
Test anywhere from 5-14 major drugs of abuse.
3. Saliva Oral Fluids Instant Drug Testing Device: With the saliva option, the test comes with a sponge in which the person being tested will saturate the sponge in their mouth for about 10 minutes. Simply remove the sponge from the mouth and place into the testing chamber. Results will appear in 5 minutes or less.
Most expensive (usually), but least invasive option. No need to handle urine samples and the test can be performed in front of anyone.
